Money Transfer

Q. How does the money transfer service work?

The sender simply has to fill in a form and present it, along with the amount to be transferred (plus fee), at our office.
The transfer takes place immediately and within a few minutes it reaches the recipient's local branch (depending on time zones and opening times).
The transfer can be collected from any sales location in the recipient's country. To collect it all you need is a valid identity card with photo and a completed recipient's form.

Q. How are transfers paid out?

In Germany transfers are only paid out in cash in euros.
In other countries the payments are made in the local currency or in US dollars or euros (depending on the capacity of the sales location).
With larger transfers it may be possible for the amount to be paid out as a check in individual cases (this does not apply in Germany).
